Nigel & Shermin
Nigel and Shermin initially booked me for their land adventure to Singapore's hidden gems. Soon after, they got excited as I offered an even more adventurous route to explore even more unreachable spots. Hence we changed the land to sea adventure.
As both of them are swimmers, they don't mind taking the risk of paddling a few KM out, away from shore and into open waters where large container ships frequently pass through..
During this trip the weather was cooling all the way, with perfectly calm waters.. we visited a few unseen areas with secret mountains that are revealed only during certain times of the day.. the trees in the backdrops made us feel like we were in village in Cambodia
I could still remember my first ever SEA shoot on a kayak, it was so stressful for me and we did not even go beyond 300m from shore because I was afraid of deep-sea at that time.. I told myself I will conquer the fear in order to be able to bring my couples to even more unexpected places.
There is no shortcut to conquering this fear but to just keep facing it head-on, by doing my own solo paddling trips a few times a week.
