How would you describe your style of photography?
I like to keep things natural and unscripted, and prefer to shoot in an unobtrusive manner as best I can. I also shoot candids with natural lighting, without use of flash as I like to document the moments just like how they appear in real life. I am drawn to human connections, and the raw, honest moments. I want you to remember all the love you felt, the joy, the laughter, the tears, and the incredible feeling of being together. We're really bad in posing and feel awkward in front of the camera, is that an issue?
Not at all, I am not good in posing either. I have tried being photographed myself and totally understand how it feels like! I'd like both of you to treat our couple sessions as an adventure trip that you embark together, to know each other better, and to create meaningful shared memories to look back in the years to come. Our adventure sessions are pretty much about candid moments. Through a series of conversations and activities, I seek to capture you in your most natural and authentic selves, where raw emotions flow and quiet romance lingers, that speaks volumes of your love for each other.
What will we receive after our wedding, and when will they be ready?
You will receive all unique high-resolution images in a USB memory stick engraved with your names, individually edited in colour (or black & white), together with a collection of matt lustre prints, in our signature wooden keepsake box which you can see here. Both of you will be invited to our studio for a viewing session within ten to fourteen weeks (usually sooner) after your wedding or adventure session. If you decide to order an album, expect around five weeks from layout designs to the delivery of the album.
Do you offer canvas printing and fine art albums?
Yes, we do. Contact us to see more of our fine art albums.
Do you have advices on the outfits we should wear or bring for our Prewedding/Adventure sessions?
We encourage you to get out of your everyday clothes and put on something that makes you feel awesome! A simple lovely dress for her always works. For our cycling adventure trips, avoid dress below knee caps. For him, avoid jeans, polo tees and t-shirts if possible! Chinos will look great =) If you would like to shoot in a wedding gown, its best to keep it small, slim and light for a more natural fee. Remember, the focus is on you and your love for each other. Keep the logistics light and simple so that we can explore more beautiful spots conveniently. A rustic hand bouquet (ideally without wrappers!) would be a nice to have if you like. Most importantly, bring your awesome selves and a good pair of shoes to walk in and we’re all set for an adventure! Bring along a spare set of shoes and outfits for beach shoots as we may get wet!
How can we plan a outdoor shoot on our wedding day?
For the best lighting and cooler weather, I recommend planning the shoot as early in the morning as possible, just after sunrises, and late evenings will be good. Allocate around thirty to forty-five minutes for the session will allow adequate time for us to capture the couple and your bridal party. We recommend planning about thirty to forty-five minutes for your portrait session to allow sufficient time to capture you and your bridal party (if you plan to have one) as well as some quiet time alone with each other before your celebration begins. For the best lighting and cooler weather (especially for the Singapore climate!), we recommend shooting as early in the morning as possible, just after the sun rises, or in the late afternoon, about an hour before the sun sets. With regards to the location to shoot, usually, we choose a place that is on the way between bride and groom places. As this would cut down traveling time in between the locations. We can recommend suitable spots based on which area you live in.
Do we need to provide transportation for you (Morning session)?
Yes, that will help!! We prefer to ride together with the bridal party to ensure that we arrive at the designated location at the same time. However, if there is no loop in the morning session, we will prepare our own transportation to the venues.
Do we need to feed you during our wedding day?
Yes, please! As with any human beings, I do get hungry around meal times too, especially after being on my feet for 4-5 hours. I would be really grateful if you could provide me a simple meal during the usual meal times. We like to eat when the guests are eating or before the cocktail reception so we won’t risk missing the important parts of your wedding.
Do you do overseas destination shoots?
Yes, we do! We love exploring new places and are always up for an adventure, anywhere around the globe. We have really attractive packages for exploring new locations. More information here!!
Our wedding will be held overseas. Can you do such shoots and how much would it cost?
Yes sure, we love destination weddings! Our passports are always ready! There is no overseas surcharge. Travel costs typically include return flight tickets from Singapore, 2-3 nights accommodation and land transportation for me. That is in addition to our standard package rates. Contact me to discuss more!
We'd love meet you in person! Can we schedule a meet up?
Yes, that would be awesome! We would love to have you both over at our studio so we can get to know one another better. As we will be spending a significant amount of time with you guys during your wedding and adventure sessions, this will be a great prelude to our adventures together!
We would like to book you! What do you do next?
If you are located in Singapore, I would love to invite you both to our studio for a casual chat. To confirm your booking with us, we require a completed booking form and a non-refundable deposit. The balance is due during submission of wedding photos.
